When we practice tai chi or chi kung (qigong) you’re not just stretching muscle, you’re liberating fascia.
Fascia is a continuous sheath of fibrous connective tissue that surrounds, supports and protects muscles, bones, nerves and organs. It not only connects our tongue to our toes - It also holds onto our unreleased emotional experiences.
Over time those unfelt emotions get trapped in our fascial network. We become tense, our muscles ache, and our organs retain the negative energies, which leads to imbalances in our emotional state and sometimes turning into dis-ease.
Fascia is released when we feel safe and when we feel safe, we can let go. The letting go of the tension allows for the smooth flow of energy and the clearing of emotions and pain.
Classes are guided in a way to help you release tension, to let go, to allow the smooth flow of energy; leaving you at peace, grounded and ready to take on the day.
Mindful – Movement – Matters
The healing begins…..
