TERMS AND CONDITIONS



1. Attendance and Punctuality

1. Punctuality
1.1 Students must arrive punctually for each scheduled lesson at Satori Qigong.
1.2 If a student arrives before the beginning of class, the accompanying parent or guardian must remain with the student until a class commences.
1.3 The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the student’s safety and well-being. Satori Qigong will not be held responsible for any incidents during the time before class begins until after it finishes.

2. Arrival and Collection of Students

2.1 Parents or guardians must arrive promptly to collect their child after each class.
2.2 Persistent lateness will incur fee's of £5 for every 15 mins late. This helps covers the cost of hiring the venue.
2.3 Children who arrive more than 10 min late will not be able to participate in class.
2.4 Please advised us if your child has developed an injury or who is unwell so classes can be adjusted to facilitate or improve their symptoms during class.
2.5 Children will not be dismissed on their own to walk home or otherwise unless specific instructions have been given by the designated person/s detailed in the Authorised Collection Form.
2.6 Children will only be dismissed to the designated person/s as listing in the Authorised Collection Form. Changes to authorised person/s must be done so in writing.
2.7 If a change in circumstances arises with the designated person/s, please notify us immediately via email at Satoriqigong@gmail.com or when you drop your child off, if its an emergency

3. Acknowledgment of Responsibility


3.1 By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the parent or guardian acknowledges responsibility for the student until the lesson starts and they are under the instructor’s supervision to when it ends and intruction is finished.

Payment Terms

1. Payment Schedule

1.1 Monthly subscription payments must be made on the 1st of each month, after which the PAYG rules apply and your place may no longer be secured for that month. It is your responsibility to ensure timely payments to avoid any disruption of services. Note: some months will be 4- or 5-weeks payment dependant about the calendar month.

1.1 Cash options are available upon request. Please email satoriqigong@gmail.com or speak to Michelle directly. Cancellation terms apply and no shows will be be restricted from booking online.


2. Automatic Payment Authorization

2.1 We do not take automatic payments from your account. If you wish to secure a monthly slot please book online and pay as per the booking terms listed.

3. Payment Obligations

3.1 We require all classes PAYG and Monthly subscriptions to be paid in advance and a minimum of 24 before scheduled class. Booked sessions not paid within 24 hours will be offered out to others.

4. Membership Payments

4.1 Membership refers to a month-on-month basis and is not secured for the year. Should you wish to continue monthly sessions please ensure you book and pay for your classes before the 1st of each month.

5. Cancellation Notice

5.1 PAYG classes cancelled within a 24hour period cannot be refunded or transferred to another class. PAYG classes with more than 24 hours’ notice are welcome to transfer onto the next class provided there is availability within that month. We cannot roll over sessions indefinitely. If you pay for a month’s subscription and wish to cancel please provide a month’s written notice by emailing satoriqigong@gmail.com


Code of Conduct - KIDS

1. Disobedience and Misconduct

1.1 Satori Qigong reserves the right to discontinue training for students who display persistent disobedience or disruptive behaviour.

1.2 Any student whose behaviour negatively impacts the learning environment may be dismissed, following a warning to the parent or guardian.

1.3 Respect and discipline are integral to martial arts training, and adherence to these principles is mandatory.

Personal Belongings

1. Responsibility for Belongings
1.1 Satori Qigong is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or stolen during training sessions.

1.2 It is advised that valuables be left at home. There are no storage facilities in the studio.

Health and Safety

1. Medical Conditions

1.1 A health and wellness questionnaire is required for every new student. This will be sent upon payment confirmation or provided to complete before class. We cannot accept students who have not completed this document.


5. Code of Conduct

5.1 Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
5.2 Any form of bullying, harassment, or misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership.
5.3 Members must comply with Satori Qigong policies, rules, and regulations at all times.

6. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

6.1 Satori Qigong reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or other communication methods.
6.2 Continued participation in Satori Qigong activities after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. You accept full responsibility for your participation in Satori Qigong from liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred.
